Wednesday it will be 3 years since the day you went home to be with God... Sometimes it seems like just 3 days and other times it seems like 30 years since I last saw your big bright smile.

I know you're happy that Carla and her family are moving down to NC. It's so good to have them here. I only wish we were all together - yes... I know that one day we WILL be together. Between now and then, I need to practice a little patience.

Your nieces and nephews talk about you all the time. I think VJ has inherited your STYLE and Brandon your CRAZY, zany sense of humor. Ashleigh is beautiful - growing into such an amazing young woman. You'd be the first in line keeping the boys away from her! DezaRay is doing so well and looking forward to moving to North Carolina! She's growing up fast. Briahna is so happy that while she's here she's sleeping in your old bed and like you, basketball is her passion. Ripley still looks forward to having an Uncle Jeffrey cake along with her pig cake!

I am sure you are helping God keep watch over us. I would love to know the 'two little jobs' he has you doing. Carla wishes she could remember what you told her they were in that dream she had! I envy the vivid dreams that Martha, Carla and Ryan Foley have had of you. They said they were so real they could feel you hug them, shake Ryan's hand and see that big, bright beautiful smile of yours!

Please help God keep watch over Garrett, Joe and HollyAnn. They love and miss you as much as the rest of us. HollyAnn isn't that little kid from the farmhouse anymore. She is beautiful! Garrett and Joe might need some help keeping the boys away from her, too!

Your friends have been amazing. I still get messages from them often - especially Ryan. Please look after Molly... I am sure you're happy that Brandon and Helen are engaged! Scooter, Kat and Shay - you know how much they love you. Toya - wow, she is an amazing young woman. I'm thankful I was able to get to know her. Brittany - I'm so proud of her and what a great mom she is! Her twins are beautiful! Might sound weird, but they give me a glimpse of what your children might have looked like. 

Speaking of children - Rhyann and Gabe - your newest niece and nephew! I can imagine how much you would spoil them, too! 

I love you. I miss you but I take great comfort in the knowledge that one day we will all be together again.

Hey Brother. i have been going thru alot lately and honestly felt like throwing in the towel, but i know you are keeping me in ya blessing and watching over me along with the Lord. JAD i wanna thank you for everthing you have taught me and showed me and still to this day i cant believe left me so soon. JAD i need you so bad to talk to and tell me its gonna be okay. just to see ya face and smile would be okay too. You have always been there for me and for me to call and for me to not be able to hear your voice kills me. honestly i would have gave anything to never rec'd that call that you are not here, i would have gave anything to have you call me and be like sis im on my way to Kats. I miss you so much, life has changed so much and i catch myself wanting to call u and vent and be like i cant stand this person, or lets go eat, lets go to kats.. JD i miss you so much. Me and Kat celebrated your bday together and had a lil fun but it wasnt no fun without ya. My son has a monkey we got at the mall at Build a Bear and his name is Jeffrey Allen Dailey aka JAD the Monkey. when i seen it and dressed it up i said or this is JD.

Me and Kat talk about you all the time or hear a song and be like this was JD shit. haha.. Any T.I. song or old Wayne. ahahha

Today we celebrated your 22nd birthday. We celebrate the time we had with you, our memories of you and the day when we'll all be together again.

In your honor, we all had birthday cake today. We weren't together, but we did share in our celebration across the miles. HollyAnn, Mick and I had cake here in NC. Brandon helped Martha bake a cake for you. Ripley, as she does each year, shared her birthday celebration with you. Joe is eating a hostess cupcake during his break tonight at work. Garrett is having cake in Houston.

You are loved so very much! Time does not change our feelings for you. We cherish the time we had with you! Today we laughed at some of your antics... your Urkel impersonation, the way you boys teased HollyAnn about her baby doll and so many other good, happy memories.

We miss you very much, but we take comfort in the fact that you are in heaven and that we will see you again.
